The Big Lebowski
Joel and Ethan Coen’s The Big Lebowski (1998) follows Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski (Jeff Bridges), a Los Angeles slacker who wants only to bowl and drink White Russians, until he is mistaken for a millionaire namesake and pulled into a kidnapping scheme involving nihilists and a stolen rug. John Goodman, Julianne Moore, Steve Buscemi and John Turturro co-star; the 35mm screening closes the fall Cult Cinema Tuesdays series.
