NEC Piano Department Concert: Scarlatti Keyboard Sonatas
Mon Nov 9 · 7:30pm / Thu Nov 12 · 7:30pm / Thu Feb 25 · 7:30pm / Tue Mar 2 · 7:30pm / Sun Mar 7 · 8:00pm
Students chosen from NEC's College and Preparatory School play Domenico Scarlatti's keyboard sonatas, the subject of six Piano Department concerts this year and of a series that will cover all 555 of them over four years. Each year the department marks an anniversary, celebrates a composer or explores a theme; Bruce Brubaker, NEC's Curator of Piano Programming, oversees the concerts.
