Your House and the White House: Celebrating Indigenous and Immigrant Culinary Contributions
Three James Beard Award winners discuss immigrant and Indigenous contributions to American food: Joanne Chang, who founded Flour Bakery; Adrian Miller, a two-time winner whose books include The President's Kitchen Cabinet, on the African American cooks who fed presidents; and Mashpee Wampanoag chef Sherry Pocknett. Sheryl Julian, former food editor of The Boston Globe, moderates, and the authors sign copies, among them Chang's The Joy of Cookies.
