Daniel A. Gagnon: A Salem Witch
Historian Daniel A. Gagnon discusses A Salem Witch: The Trial, Execution, and Exoneration of Rebecca Nurse (2021), his biography of one of the women hanged in 1692, covering 17th-century Salem and Nurse’s role in the events and challenging earlier interpretations of the Salem Village witch-hunt. Gagnon is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and serves on the board of the Rebecca Nurse Homestead Museum in Danvers.
