Spark! Gothic Horror
Three novelists discuss gothic horror. In Abigail Rose-Marie’s White Rabbit, a girl whose father has left lives with a distant mother in a house haunted by Sylvia Plath’s ghost; in Ashley Woo’s Wildwood, an inheritance uncovers centuries of avarice; and in Gabrielle Sher’s Odessa, set during the Russian pogroms, a family turns to ancient magic to revive a murdered daughter. Trisha Blanchet, author of Murder Like Magic, moderates.
