Pet Sematary (1989)
Mary Lambert’s Pet Sematary (1989) moves Louis Creed’s family to rural Maine; when their cat is killed, a kindly neighbour, played by Fred Gwynne, shows him the burial ground beyond the pet cemetery, where what is buried comes back changed. Stephen King adapted his own novel. Shown in 4K, it closes a Halloween Hullabaloo double bill that opens with Cujo on 35mm.
