Whose Stories Does the Landscape Hold? A Conversation on Transcendentalism & Contemporary Life
A conversation in a new series on Transcendentalism and contemporary life, on how attention to Indigenous presence, spirituality and environmental history reshapes the way places are remembered. Elise Lemire, author of Black Walden, joins Rochelle L. Johnson, author of Passions for Nature, and Simon Cox, author of The Subtle Body: A Genealogy. Charles M. Stang moderates; the Concord Free Public Library and the Thoreau Alliance co-host.
