Symplectic Geometry Seminar: Xin Jin (Boston College)
Xin Jin, a mathematician at Boston College, speaks at MIT’s Symplectic Geometry Seminar. Her research brings microlocal sheaf theory to bear on symplectic topology and homological mirror symmetry. The seminar, run in the mathematics department by Shaoyun Bai and Paul Seidel, hosts research-level talks in symplectic geometry and neighbouring fields, and is open to the public as well as the MIT community.
