Boston Public Library · Boston Public Library · Central Library in Copley Square · Central Library in Copley Square

Steven Levitsky discusses How Democracies Die, his New York Times bestseller with Daniel Ziblatt, in a talk that asks why American elites “abdicated in the face of an authoritarian threat” during Trump's second term and how the turn might be reversed. Levitsky is David Rockefeller Professor of Latin American Studies at Harvard and, with Ziblatt, co-author of Tyranny of the Minority.
