Symplectic Geometry Seminar: Zhengyi Zhou (Morningside Center of Mathematics)
Zhengyi Zhou, an associate professor at the Morningside Center of Mathematics in Beijing, speaks at MIT’s Symplectic Geometry Seminar, which meets on a Tuesday this week rather than its usual Thursday. Zhou works on symplectic field theory and its applications; he earned his PhD at UC Berkeley under Katrin Wehrheim and spent three years at the Institute for Advanced Study working with Helmut Hofer.
