Repo Man (1984)
In Alex Cox’s Repo Man (1984), Emilio Estevez plays a nihilistic young punk taken under the wing of a weathered repo man, Harry Dean Stanton, in a desolate Los Angeles; the job turns strange when they chase a ’64 Chevy Malibu with a hefty reward on it and something otherworldly in the trunk. It shows on 35mm after Phantom of the Paradise in a Cult Cinema Tuesdays double bill.
