Constantine (2005)
Francis Lawrence’s Constantine (2005) casts Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, an occultist who has literally been to hell and back, helping a skeptical policewoman (Rachel Weisz) investigate the apparent suicide of her twin sister, a case that leads them into the world of demons and angels beneath modern Los Angeles. Tilda Swinton co-stars in the adaptation of the Hellblazer comics, shown on 35mm in the Coolidge’s Prints of Darkness series.
