Phantasm (1979)
In Don Coscarelli's 1979 film, a teenage boy, Mike, and his friends take on the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm), a mortician who robs graves with the help of hooded dwarfs and a flying silver sphere. Julia Marchese, curator of the Halloween Hullabaloo, programmed it to honour Reggie Bannister, who plays Reggie, the ice-cream man, and died recently. It follows Killer Klowns from Outer Space in a double bill.
