Ghost Pirates, a presentation by Luca Rebussini

Weston Public Library · Community Room · Weston Public Library · Weston

Luca Rebussini, the Rhode Island educator and historian who performs as The R.I. Pirate Guy, tells the history of New England’s pirates in the Golden Age of Piracy, some of whom may still roam as ghosts. He covers why people turned pirate, how ships were run, weapons, tactics and pirate politics, then what a ghost is and why ghosts linger, with curses and hidden treasure.
