Emily Ladau, a disability rights activist and writer, launches the updated second edition of Demystifying Disability, her guide to being “a thoughtful, informed ally to disabled people,” with practical steps on what to say and do, and what not to. The launch includes a moderated discussion, audience questions and a signing, with ASL and CART services provided and sliding-scale tickets available.
