BU Symphony Orchestra: Courage & Freedom
Sarah Ioannides conducts the Boston University Symphony Orchestra in Beethoven's Leonore Overture No. 3, the third of the overtures he wrote for the opera that became Fidelio, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, the Pathétique, his last symphony, which premiered nine days before his death in 1893. Between them a winner of the College of Fine Arts' 2026–27 Concerto Competition plays a concerto.
