Persepolis (2007)
Marjane Satrapi adapts her own graphic novel in Persepolis (2007), co-directed with Vincent Paronnaud, an animated autobiography of a girlhood during and after the Iranian Revolution. Afterwards two publishers, Liz Frances of Street Noise (I Won't Pretend These Missiles Are Stars) and Tom Hart of the Sequential Artists Workshop (Young in Iran), discuss Iran through comics. The Boston Comic Arts Foundation and the Middle East Studies Association co-present.
