Hancock Cemetery: Alive with History — Presentation & Book Signing with Rachel Squires Bloom
Rachel Squires Bloom presents her new book Hancock Cemetery: Alive with History, which places Quincy’s “Old Burying Ground” in “the contexts of Puritan theology, colonial community life, and the development of Quincy as a civic and industrial center,” through the farmers, ministers, merchants and civic leaders buried there. Bloom, a Quincy Public Schools teacher for more than two decades, also wrote Squantum School: A Great Place to Start.
