Lauren Shaw, author of Traces of Impermanence, in conversation with Laura Blacklow
Lauren Shaw presents Traces of Impermanence, a photobook setting pictures of her own aging body, its “scars, bruises and marks,” beside images of growth and decay in nature, with essays by Lucy Lippard and Terry Tempest Williams. Shaw studied with Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind and is Professor Emerita of Photography at Emerson College. Laura Blacklow joins her in conversation.
