Cut to David (2026), Sandy Jaffe’s documentary, follows David, an adopted Chinese-American transgender teen raised in a Jewish home in Boston by a filmmaker mother, from high school through college into adulthood, as each member of the family takes a turn steering the narrative. The film “considers the possibilities and perils of living visibly and openly.” Jaffe, Jay Blitzman and David Blitzman join a discussion after the screening.
