The Sound of Music
Rodgers and Hammerstein's last musical together opens Riverside Theatre Works's forty-fifth anniversary season: a novice sent from the abbey to keep house for a widowed Austrian naval officer and his seven children, and the family's departure over the mountains as Austria is annexed. The score runs from "Do-Re-Mi" to "Climb Ev'ry Mountain."
