The Future of Labor in America and Abroad: A Discussion with Rick Levy & Gladys Cisneros
Rick Levy, former president of the Texas AFL-CIO, and Gladys Cisneros, chief of the Labor Migration Branch at the International Labor Organization, discuss how labor movements are adapting to a changing economy: organizing and worker power in the United States, labor migration and workers' protections abroad, and the part unions play on climate change, AI and immigration. Part of the Institute of Politics's Food for Thought lunch series.
