Reconcilable Differences: The Unlikely Political Alliance of John F. Kennedy and Eleanor Roosevelt
Barbara Perry discusses her book on the partnership between John F. Kennedy and Eleanor Roosevelt, who moved from early uncertainty to common cause on civil rights, women's rights and the Peace Corps in the twenty-one months they shared in Washington. Perry is a professor and co-chair of the Presidential Oral History Project at the University of Virginia's Miller Center. Susan Page, Washington Bureau Chief of USA Today, joins her.
