Local Author Book Talk - Emily Franklin
Emily Franklin discusses her novel Love & Other Monsters, narrated by Claire Clairmont, Mary Shelley’s “dangerously loyal stepsister,” who spent the stormy summer of 1816 on Lake Geneva with the Shelleys, Byron and Polidori, the months that produced Frankenstein and the modern vampire. Franklin has written more than twenty books, among them The Lioness of Boston, a novel based on the life of Isabella Stewart Gardner.
