National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989), directed by Jeremiah Chechik from a John Hughes script, has Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) planning a perfect family Christmas, until his wife Ellen’s cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) arrives and parks his camper van in front of the house. As the plans unravel, Clark holds on to the thought of his Christmas bonus, already promised to a new swimming pool.
