Widmann's Sonatina facile, ten pieces from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, Op. 75, and Mozart's C-minor Fantasia, K. 396, before Prokofiev's Eighth Sonata, Op. 84, the last of his three wartime sonatas, ends the evening. Seong-Jin Cho returns to Symphony Hall.
