Colloquium on the Brain and Cognition: Michael Shadlen
Michael Shadlen, a neuroscientist at Columbia University and Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator, gives the Picower Institute's Colloquium on the Brain and Cognition. Shadlen trained as a physician and is known for his studies of decision-making: how neurons in the parietal cortex accumulate evidence over time until the brain commits to a choice. MIT neuroscientist Earl Miller hosts; the talk is in person only.
