Mozart's nocturnal G-major Violin Sonata, K. 379, opens a wide-ranging programme that takes in Silvestrov's Two Pieces, Weinberg's Fifth Sonata of 1953, Webern's compressed Four Pieces and, to close, Strauss's early E-flat Sonata, Op. 18. The violinist Geneva Lewis makes her Vivo debut.
