Alisa Weilerstein, the orchestra's artist in residence, plays Prokofiev's Sinfonia Concertante, the cello work he revised for Rostropovich near the end of his life, before Sibelius's Second Symphony of 1902. Paavo Järvi conducts, in his Symphony Hall debut with the BSO.
