Jim Emison at Harvard Book Store
Jim Emison discusses Murder on the Hatchie, which "uncovers the 1940 lynching of NAACP leader Elbert Williams — America's first martyr for Black voting rights — and the federal failures that followed." Emison is a retired Tennessee trial lawyer who got the case reopened. Cornell William Brooks joins him.
