Kids Keynote: Meg Medina and Claribel A. Ortega
Newbery Medalist Meg Medina and New York Times bestselling author Claribel A. Ortega discuss new books for young readers. Medina’s Graciela in the Abyss follows the friendship between a sea-spirit and Jorge, a mortal boy terrified of water, who must team up to keep evil spirits at bay. Ortega’s Witchlings: The Sea Witch Prophecy concludes the series, sending Seven, Valley and Thorn across land and sea to fulfill a prophecy.
