Poetry Reading and Open Mic Night!
Poet Betsy Johnson reads before an open mic for anyone with poems of their own. Johnson, a storyteller, educator and autism specialist, writes about belonging, drawing on disability, healthcare, social justice and the natural world; her poem “Mathematics of Mercy,” on the human cost of Medicaid policy, was read on the floor of the House of Representatives by Congressman Jake Auchincloss.
