Joy (world premiere) with panel: Beyond the Headlines: Celebrating Trans Joy
The world première of Joy, a documentary by local filmmakers, opens a Community Conversation presented with Trans Joy Resistance, followed by a panel on living authentically and finding community. The panelists include Olivia Werth, the group's president and a North Shore organizer; Katelyn, Salem's first openly trans city councillor; and volunteers from NAGLY. A gallery of trans art and poetry is open before the screening.
