The Fire That Welcomes: An African Theology of Hospitality
Fr Litoing SJ begins from a Fulani saying — the fire that cooks for the traveller never goes out — and builds from Sahelian traditions of hospitality toward a theology of welcome, treating African practice as a source for Christian thought rather than an illustration of it.
