Andris Nelsons & Lauren Smith conduct Beethoven, with Lang Lang
Tue Mar 2 / Wed Mar 3 · 7:30pm
The first of two all-Beethoven evenings with Lang Lang: he plays the First Piano Concerto, and Andris Nelsons closes with the Fifth Symphony and its four-note fate motif. Between them, Lauren Smith, a 2026 Tanglewood conducting fellow, leads the Egmont Overture as the capstone of her fellowship.
