e-flux Architecture: Nick Axel and Nikolaus Hirsch
Nikolaus Hirsch, co-founder of e-flux Architecture, and Nick Axel, its deputy editor, speak in MIT's fall architecture lecture series with the Architecture and Urbanism Group. Hirsch directs the Brussels museum Kanal Architecture, was dean of the Städelschule and designed the Dresden Synagogue. Axel heads architectural design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, was editor of the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale under Carlo Ratti, and co-edited Sick Architecture with Beatriz Colomina.
