The Salem Witch Trials: What Really Happened
Dennis J. Curran, a former Massachusetts Superior Court judge, examines the Salem witch trials and the “perfect storm” of conditions behind their injustices, part of his series “Great Trials That Changed History: A Judge’s Perspective.” Curran presided over 450 civil and criminal trials in 15 years on the bench and has received four statewide awards for judicial excellence; he holds a law degree from the University of Virginia.
