Joshua Roach conducts the Boston University Wind Ensemble in three landmarks of the wind repertoire: Etezady's Anahita, inspired by Persian mythology and visual art; Joseph Schwantner's …and the mountains rising nowhere, written in 1977 for the Eastman Wind Ensemble; and Percy Grainger's Lincolnshire Posy, which turns English folk songs he collected in Lincolnshire into a suite for band.
