Alea III: World Premieres for Small Chamber Ensemble
Alea III, Boston University’s ensemble-in-residence, gives world premieres of new works for small chamber ensemble by members of the BU composition community, presented by the Center for New Music. Founded in 1978 by the composer and conductor Theodore Antoniou, the ensemble has spent nearly five decades premiering music by successive generations of composers and giving them the chance to work directly with professional players.
