Quantum Connections Dinner: The Past, Present and Future of Quantum
A reception, dinner and panel discussion at Endicott House revisit the 1981 Physics of Computation Conference held there, a gathering that helped lay the ground for quantum information science. The evening honours Charles H. Bennett, a 1981 participant and co-recipient with Gilles Brassard of the 2025 Turing Award. Ian Waitz, MIT's vice president for research, moderates Bennett, Danna Freedman, Aram Harrow, Paola Cappellaro and IBM's Jamie Garcia.
