[ENVS] Pipeline Pedagogy: Prioritizing American Indian Peoples in Addressing Environmental Crisis
Non-Indigenous Americans describe environmental danger from inside the privileges of stolen land. Drawing on research in the Lumbee community, around MIT and increasingly in Maine, the speaker sets out what he calls pipeline pedagogy — putting American Indian peoples first in the communication and policy processes that address environmental poisoning.
