Boston Book Festival · Boston Public Library · Central Library — Children's Library · 700 Boylston St · Boston · Back Bay · Boston

Edwidge Danticat reads her picture book for ages 4 to 8, in which Grandma Issa warns Leila on an unusually cold Miami day to “watch out for falling iguanas,” and Leila and her friends learn why the creatures really do drop from trees. Danticat’s books for adults include Brother, I’m Dying, a National Book Critics Circle Award winner, and Claire of the Sea Light.
