Jean-Yves Thibaudet plays Gershwin's Piano Concerto, the composer's jazz and concert-hall sides in one work, after Ravel's Pavane for a Dead Princess. Kazuki Yamada, in his Symphony Hall debut with the orchestra, closes with two of Respighi's colourful Roman tone poems.
