Asteroid City (2023)
Kris Moran, a MassArt painting graduate (BFA 1989) who was set decorator on Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, gives a behind-the-scenes talk on the inspiration and craftsmanship behind the film’s sets and takes questions, and the film is screened after her talk. The 2023 comedy, set at a Junior Stargazer convention in a 1955 desert town, stars Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson and Tom Hanks. Registration is required.
