The X-Files (1998)
Rob Bowman’s The X-Files (1998) brings Mulder and Scully (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) to the big screen, tracing a deadly virus that may have been brought to Earth by aliens thirty-seven thousand years ago; the investigation turns up an FBI cover-up and the Syndicate. Released between the series’ fifth and sixth seasons, it shows on 35mm in the Rewind! series, followed by a themed afterparty for over-21s.
