Lectures on Tap — How Cognitive Biases Warp Our Moral Decisions
Philosopher Jeremy Evans looks at how hidden cognitive biases distort moral judgment, and why good people often make questionable ethical choices. He then considers how self-knowledge and reflection can help people reason more clearly and build more just institutions. Evans, who holds a philosophy PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, directs Boston College’s Managing for Social Impact program and works on applied ethics and human flourishing.
