Consumption: What We Love… What We Hate
True Story Theater's December performance takes consumption as its theme: what people love about living in a high-consumption society, and how they deal with what is hard about it. In Playback Theatre, audience members who wish to tell a personal story do so, and the company's actors immediately enact it through dialogue, music and movement. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
