Simon Johnson, the Ronald A. Kurtz Professor of Entrepreneurship at MIT Sloan, shared the 2024 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences with Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson for research on how institutions shape prosperity. Over dinner he talks about that work, his time in Stockholm, and how AI and economic policy are shaping the future. The evening launches the Endicott House Nobel Laureate Series.
