‘Twas the nightingale before the christmas
Nightingale Vocal Ensemble reprises its musical twist on the poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, a holiday concert it describes as "all-at-once elaborate, humorous, and festive," with singalong carols, hot cider and mulled wine, and a reception afterward. The Boston-based professional vocal ensemble, led by artistic director Ben Perry, commissions in-house composers and designs its programmes around particular venues. Admission is free, with a suggested donation.
