Penley Knipe, Philip and Lynn Straus Senior Conservator of Works of Art on Paper and head of the Straus Center's paper lab, explores Alfonso Ossorio's experimental wax-resist technique in his works on paper. She discusses the investigative methods the lab has used to understand the work and the conservation team's ongoing research on the artist, in conjunction with the exhibition Alfonso Ossorio: Line and Lineage.
